I am a relative newbie, but i have had problem changing font color in Gimp. I have version 2.6.6, running on Vista Pro (on a macbook pro, btw). I changed the color to red, which does show up, replacing the original black, in the toolbox. When I type it in, and on the document as well, it remains black. I am using photoshop CS2. There is a problem of memory usage. When I run photoshop CS2 (just run the program, no image is loaded), it eats up all my physical memory, as well as page file. I try the fix the problem by seting the memory usage to 35% in preference. However, this does not work. reinstall does not work either. does anyone have experience like this? How can I fix it??? I was using Picajet, but once I hit 20,000 images the program slowed to a crawl and finally won't start up anymore. It simply freezes up. I still have another 40,000 images to add, and so I need to find an app that can handle over 50,000 pix with room to spare. I was just going threw some programs and I found a .dll file. I have no idea what that is except that it stores data of some sort on your computer. Does anyone know if either Notepad2 or Notepad++ had any debugging or something like that for anything other that HTML. I am looking for something for PHP besides PHP Designer. Is There Software To Handle .PSD Images?
Hello everyone, Do you know any other piece of software that can handle the manipulation of .PSD images other than Photoshop? I actually have Photoshop 8.0 CS, but I'd like to know if there was a simpler application to use. I don't need any sophisticated tools, really. I think that new feature for Photoshop called Vanishing Point would be really interesting. But it might not really be useful. I think the CS1 was already much more advanced than its predecessors. Losing Connection When Downloading
I'm trying to download SetupRubies095.exe so I can play the online game on cyberwar.net. But every time no matter from what site I try to download I lose connection for some reason. It stops downloading and I can't load any sites. I have to restart my pc to be able to use the internet. I not sure if it's the download manager(leech get) that's the problem. I'm not sure what to do. If anyone can help asap, I would really appreciate it. Really want to play the game it looks cool

For my php stuff I have been using dreamweaver with apache 2.0 and PHP 5.0, one of my friends mentioned this program and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. I always need to creat PowerPoint slides. Most of my Powerpoint slides are about 20~30MB as they contain a lot of pictures, graphs. Usually, I save them as PDF files. The size of PDF file is smaller than ppt. And it is more secure compare to PPT. Any Good Ocr Tracing Programs?
I am looking for a good OCR tracing program. I have a whole book with printed adresses I need to get to my computer, and it takes way to long time to copy it manually. I have tried "softwriting 3.2" but it did not work with my scanner. An Agfa 5200, even though it has TWAIN interface. I need to get the text to MS Word. What is good? It would be nice if it also could "learn" to trace my handwriting.
Well, I finally managed to get photoshop cs2 in place of 7 (i don't use it much - just my sis) but when i first started it, it told me that my monitor profile (LG Flatron L1720B) was incorrect. I clicked on ignore , but then it began to show the colour white as a bit yellowish. i ain't a pro at photoshop, so could you help out?
